I am experienced in counseling cedants and reinsurers in connection with contract and claim issues and have also been active in the litigation and arbitration of reinsurance disputes.

• Review claims falling under a reinsurance contract for the quality of the claim handling and the adequacy of the reserves.

• Act as the UMPIRE ONLY in an insurance reinsurance dispute

• Provide expert testimony regarding property/casualty insurance or reinsurance coverage issues

• Assist actuaries in evaluating the ultimate payout of a line of business falling under an insurance or reinsurance contract and to advise them regarding the assumptions underlying their models.

• Benchmark the organization and day to day process of insurers' and reinsurers' claim departments; make recommendations for improvement; and, help the company implement changes.
